Evansville Chapter, and sharing of professional
joys and challenges: Sunday evening at
Kristen Jone's home on the
north side of Evansville, beginning at 5:00pm. Chili and soft

NEU CHAPEL ORGAN @ NOON
Neu Chapel Organ @ Noon, a series of
informal organ concerts by Dr. Douglas Reed, University Organist, will
take place in Neu Chapel from 12:20 to 1:00 p.m. The series is
sponsored by the Neu Chapel Society, the Office of Religious Life, and
the Department of Music.
-January 20, 2011: “Ring in the New Year!” Dr. Reed will discuss and
perform music inspired by the ringing of bells. Composers represented
include William Byrd (British,16th C.), Eric Delamarter (American, 20th
C.), William Albright (American, 20th C.), and Louis Vierne (French,
20th C.).
-February 17: Here Come of the
Pedals! Music played by the feet on the organ pedals.
-March 17: Happy Birthday,
J.S. Bach! Music by Johann Sebastian Bach, the greatest composer of
Baroque organ music.
-April 21: Music for Holy Week.
Music by Marcel Dupré, Samuel Barber, and Russell Peck.The Neu Chapel
Society will provide light refreshments in the narthex
following each concert.

Hope for the Rejected ministry for teenagers. Music by Bach,
Buxtehude, Hakim and Mendelssohn.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS:
The Executive Committee
generally meets
on the first Monday of each month at
Eastside Christian Church, Weinbach at
Bayard Park, at 5:30pm. Chapter
members are welcome to attend a meeting to share ideas, suggestions, or
concerns with our chapter's officers.
2010-2011 Meeting dates: August 9, September 13, October 4, November 1,
December 6, January 3, February 7, March 7, April 4.
